FLAMENCO WORKSHOP with DEFNE ENC

Defne Enç is a classically trained flamenco dancer who began her professional career in the San Francisco Bay Area. She worked as a soloist and as a member of many companies, including Yaelisa and Caminos Flamencos, La Tania Flamenco Dance Company, Forever Flamenco!, and Arte y Compás, performing throughout the west coast and as far as Hawai and Beijing. Recently, she has been featured as a guest artist in the Miami festival, Flamenco in the Sun, toured the east coast with Carlota Santana’s Flamenco Vivo, and performed with Flamenco Vivo at the Joyce Theater under the direction of Rafaela Carrasco. She has worked as a choreographer and teacher throughout the U.S. and abroad, and in addition to flamenco choreography's has presented innovative works in San Francisco’s ODC Theater and Cam Ocagi in Istanbul. She currently resides in Madrid.
